All boats are required to measure at all times and in compliance with the Class Rules.
Prior to competing at any level of event all equipment (hull, spars, foils and sails) must be measured and be in compliance with the Class Rules. Measurement may be undertaken in accordance with the Class Rules. A Measurement Form will be completed by the measurer and a Measurement Certificate issued.
To give further guidance to the measurement requirements the 470 Class Chief Measurer Dimitris Dimou (GRE) has produced a document called: "Common Measurement Problems and Solutions."
