Judges

For 2009, the 470 Internationale 470 Class has launched an initiative to encourage the development of judges. The 470 Class Judges Programme is aimed at identifying judges who have the potential to achieve status as an ISAF International Judge, with 470 Internationale or ISAF providing travel grants to assist in providing financial support during 2010.

The International 470 Class is supporting the development of judges, particularly those who have sailed and competed in the 470 Class. We would like to identify judges who have experience of the 470 Class, either as a sailor or a coach, who would like to develop their career as a race official, with the intent being that they could apply for status as an ISAF International Judge in the period 2010 - 2012.

All 470 National Class Associations are invited to put forward the names of individuals who they would like to nominate to the judges programme, by completing the Nomination Form and sending the form and a head and shoulders digital image by 31 January 2010 to: office@470.org
