470 Coaches Programmes ISAF Coaches Commission

Welcome to the Coaches area - which will be expanding over the coming months.

Renowned multi Olympic medallist, now turned coach, Kevin Burnham (USA) was appointed to the 470 Management Committee in October 2009 with the specific brief to support and develop the relationship between coaches and the class. With no more personal Olympic campaigns in the pipeline, Kevin has turned his focus to coaching and mentoring the next generation of 470 sailors to Olympic success. Kevin will also be working on the development of the 470 Coaching Clinics.

For the 2010 470 Championships, we have introduced a coaches' online registration fee - you can enter via the same method as the athletes. Go to www.470.org/events to access the events with online entry provided by 470 Internationale for 2010.
