2020 420 & 470 AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIP IS ON ... FIRE!
16 Jan 2020The first half of the 2020 420 & 470 African Championships is over! 6 races sailed so far, counting on scores at Clube Naval de Luanda @clubenavaldeluanda in Angola.
Local sailors Matias Montinho/Paixão Afonso have consolidated their great performance, winning the last 5 races and leading the 470 championship with 5 points. Francisco Artur / Edivaldo Torres and Paulo Amaral/Lucio Felgueira are second and third with 9 and 13 points respectively.
2020 470 class Open African Championship takes place in Luanda, Angola from 12-18 January 2020. This event is also the African Continental Qualifier Event for the 470 Class Men & Women events for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
