The first two days, 17-18 July, delivered rain and winds gusting up to 26 knots, but the challenging conditions did not prevent the fleet from the on water practice sessions – with no gear loss reported.

The next two days of the Clinic, 19-20 July, will be focused on practice races as a warm up for the main Championships.

The daily briefings and theory sessions are also open to coaches and hand out sheets are provided to all the teams who participate in the Clinic. Andreas Kosmatopoulos commented, " I am really satisfied with the athletes' response and participation, and the positive input from the coaches. I a m excited to see day by day more athletes attending the practice and especially the meetings."

Australian coach, Larry Cargill, expressed his thoughts on the clinic, "The practice and the theory was really helpful and Andreas managed to cover all the aspects. The notes "470 Playbook" he provided was detailed giving the athletes valuable input. My teams are happy participating the clinic.”

Thanks also to Larry Cargill, the Belgian coach Cor Van Der Nagel and the Israeli coach Eli Zukerman for their valuable support to run the Junior World Championship clinic.
