Incredible sailors, all joined by their careers and successes in the 470 Class and the medal maker, Victor Kovalenko, who has coached each of them.

Nathan Wilmot - sailed to Gold Medal success at the 2008 Olympics with crew Malcolm Page. Page went onto win his second Gold at the 2012 Olympics with Mat Belcher. The Wilmot/Page partnership also won the 2004, 2005 and 2007 470 World Championships, picking up silver in 2003 and 2006, and bronze in 2001. Wilmot is now coaching in the 470 Class.

Ruslana Taran and Elena Pakholchik - won back to back World titles in 1997, 1998 and 1999. The pair also picked up the silver medal at the 1995 Worlds. They claimed bronze at the 1996 Olympics and again at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. They won the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Award in 1997.

Mat Belcher and Will Ryan - have won the 470 Worlds in 2013 and 2014, continuing Belcher’s formidable 470 career with former crew Malcolm Page. Together they won the 2010, 2011 and 2012 470 World Championships and Olympic Gold in London 2012. Belcher won the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Award in 2013.

Victor Kovalenko - aka "The Medal Maker" has guided Australians to an amazing 40 international medals and since joining the Australian team in 1997, he has coached the nation’s sailors to five Olympic gold medals. His international and Olympic record is without parallel.
