REPORT FROM THE 2022 470 GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING
09 Sep 2022The 2022 470 General Assembly meeting took place in Tihany Hungary on Saturday August 20, 2022.
Scheduled to coincide with the 2022 470 Junior World Championship, the GAM debated general class management issues, class rule changes and selected host venues for future Championships.
The main decisions taken by the GAM are briefly mentioned below. Please read the draft minutes available here.
The submission from Greece for RR50.1(c) modification (quick release trapeze harnesses) was approved, and the following decisions were taken about future event venues: Junior European Championship 2023 in Gdynia, Poland, World Championship 2024 in Arenal (Palma) Spain, European Championship 2024 in Sanremo, Italy, Junior World Championship 2024 in Izmit, Turkey and the 2025 European Championship will be in Warnemunde, Germany.
