Please note, any teams arriving at the venue prior to 25 July, must advise the Organizing Committee by email on: byc@byc.hu
About Lake Balaton
Lake Balaton or Balaton in short, is the largest lake in Central Europe, which is situated in the Middle Transdanubian region in the western part of Hungary. The 77 km length and the 14 km width form a 600 square kilometer water surface. The Tihany peninsula divides the lake into two parts, forming a strait – with only about 1 km to sail across – which is also the deepest point of the Lake (11 meters). About Balatonfüred
Balatonfüred is a small town with a population of 13,500, but the number of permanent and temporary inhabitants reaches almost 35,000 during the summer high-season, in July and August. It is an ancient settlement which was already inhabited during the reign of the Roman Empire. Balatonfüred is the touristic, cultural and sailing centre of Lake Balaton.
